X-Cube in the Hollywood Event Center (next to De Kuip) is not a classic escape room but a set of three identical digital 'escape cubes' of 16 m², where up to 18 players can play simultaneously. Each cube runs a rotating catalog of fully digital games — from the whodunit Murder at the Mansion, where your team must ultimately identify who committed the murder, why and how, to the social deduction game The Traitors based on the popular TV format. Everything happens via a massive touchscreen, controllers and light and sound effects; there are no physical props or locks and a software voice guides the session. Visitors praise the sleek production and the combination with the rest of the event center (racing, mini golf, bar), but puzzle lovers find it superficial compared to a real escape room and 30 minutes for €45 feels short. Independent reviews are scarce: escapetalk gives no score and the TripAdvisor page has little volume.
