Wagners Inferno is Sassenheim's first escape room, based since November 2016 in the back of Boekhandel Wagner — a bookstore that built a room around its own literary identity. The story borrows from Dante Alighieri with a touch of Dan Brown: Dante's dark spirit has returned to complete his masterpiece, and your team of three to seven players must solve the riddles of the infernal realm within sixty minutes and unmask which modern figure is secretly Dante. With a success rate of around thirty percent, it ranks as one of the hardest rooms in the region, aimed at serious puzzle enthusiasts.
