About this venue
Timed Adventures (formerly Inferno) in Katwijk aan Zee is a small-scale venue that puts all its emphasis on experience over puzzle density. In its flagship INFERNO you become a firefighter: you pull on real protective gear, the alarm bell sounds, and via walkie-talkie the commandant (the owner in character) gives you live orders and hints — never as 'hints', always as commands. There's also GEPPETTO, a dark Pinocchio tale set in the cramped woodworking workshop of a missing Katwijk clockmaker and his wooden boy (currently English only), and INFERNO KIDS for junior firefighters aged 9-12. Reviews are exceptionally positive — 9.4 on Escapetalk for INFERNO — with praise for the immersion, the fantastic host, and a stunning finale; experienced players find the puzzles on the light side.
