The Hague Escape was a small, owner-run escape room in a renovated historic coach house in central The Hague, now permanently closed (the website is even offline). The business had two rooms: in De Schuilkamer you investigated the discovered hideout of a fugitive terrorist and had to identify the perpetrator and thwart an attack within 60 minutes, while The Hostel revolved around a missing guest in a disreputable hostel. Visitors especially praised the original, unusual puzzles and the friendly, enthusiastic owner โ the service score of 9.2 on Escapetalk stood out, with an overall score of 8.6 for De Schuilkamer. The decor lagged somewhat behind the puzzle design, but the parallel puzzle structure ensured everyone in the group always had something to do.
