Skunx Escape Rooms is a young escape room venue on Oostbaan in Moordrecht, just outside Gouda, opened on 1 August 2025 by creators who are passionate escape room enthusiasts themselves (a location in Houten is announced). In House of Nowhere you enter a beloved vacation home that vanished without a trace in 1988 one night — along with the young family staying there; days later the house reappeared, but the family never returned. The room is a cinematic mystery without horror or jump scares, with light, sound and animation serving the story and — notably — no visible countdown clock. The welcome is exceptional: 9.3 on escapetalk, 5.0 on Google and reviews full of gaping mouths over the decors and the hosts' passion. Caveat: the venue opened less than a year ago, so the high score rests on a small, fresh review base.
