About this venue
RealEscapeRoom on the Vest in Dordrecht was one of the Netherlands' older escape room locations (TripAdvisor reviews from 2015 onwards) with five rooms at its peak, mostly with a horror edge: from the psychological thriller Wanna Play Room featuring the girl Kelly and her doll to the gory Bath Room, which consistently ranked best thanks to a game master who played along with humour in the room. There was also the school-horror Class Room, the jewel room Precious Room, and the lighter News Room, a 1962 newspaper office where you had to get an article written before deadline. Fans on TripAdvisor (47 reviews, very positive, even 'BEST Escape Room EVER') praised the variety and staff who really listened and reacted; more critical reviews found the rooms classic with lots of number locks, few surprises, and sometimes annoyingly dark. The location later continued as Fundustry Dordrecht and is now permanently closed, sometime between 2023 and 2025.
