About this venue
Missionroom in Leidschendam is, according to itself, the largest escape location in the The Hague region: four rooms plus quiz shows, glow-in-the-dark hide-and-seek and laser games, for groups of 2 to 100 people. The rooms are missions rather than classic escapes: in the Breaking Bad homage Los Pollos you erase traces of your meth lab as Walter White, in SWAT you search the criminal's house as an arrest team, Christina's Droom is a nightmare rescue mission and Mystery of Brewery's Alley 22 is a classic detective case. The fiction starts at the desk — game hosts welcome you in police theme — and that personal welcome drives the high rating (9.2 on escaperoomsnederland). There is criticism too: an English-speaking group was sold a room that turned out not to be playable in English, and Christina's Droom is only available in Dutch.
