About this venue
Het Virtuorium on Breestraat in central Leiden is a VR center with a growing catalog of licensed VR escape rooms (now 14+ titles), from the occult Sanctum to horror (House of Fear), sci-fi (Signal Lost) and family adventure (Jungle Quest). You play full-body VR with 360-degree freedom of movement, while a live VR coach watches and whispers hints on request; many games are also playable seated or from a wheelchair. Visitors praise especially the spontaneous, knowledgeable staff and the wow-factor of the medium — large groups up to 13+ people split across stations and even race each other. There is no reliable review aggregate: TripAdvisor is positive and Kidsproof Leiden calls it a favorite outing, but enthusiastic reviews are sparse because the titles run worldwide and the venue has no own local story.
