About this venue
Escaperoom Zevenhuizen is a small two-room venue on a business estate at the Noordeinde, open since November 2020. Currently you can play 'The Gym 2.0' (ending up at the wrong time in the wrong sports gym) and the new 'The Cursed Cinema', which replaced the Cold War room in April. These are classic padlock rooms with camera guidance and well-timed hints; the strong, original openings of the games are the venue's trademark. On Escapetalk the venue scores a 7.3, with service (8.4) clearly standing out: the friendly welcome makes up for what some visitors experience as bare décor and the absence of music or sound. Nice for the region and for those who love classic puzzling, but atmosphere-seekers find it weakening a bit after a strong first act.
