Escaperoom Leiden is located in the Kruithuisje on the Jan van Houtkade, the last remaining defensive tower of Leiden's city wall. In 'Rembrandts Geheime Atelier' you have two tasks: discover Rembrandt's great secret within an hour and escape from the tower. The atmosphere is deliberately analog and historical — old keys, strange paintings and hidden drawers in a real medieval monument, without visible modern technology. Visitors are notably full of praise: reviewers call it 'the best escape room I've ever done' and praise the unique location and original puzzles entirely themed around Rembrandt. Note: it's one room for a maximum of 7 players, so a repeat visit is not possible.
