About this venue
Outdoor escape game by Escape Tours — not a physical escape room, but a self-guided puzzle route through Gorinchem. The story tells how scholar and traitor Hugo de Groot in 1621 escapes from Loevestein castle to Gorinchem with the help of his maidservant Elsje, hidden in a book chest, while soldiers of Prince Maurits seal off the city.
