About this venue
Escape Team Rotterdam (part of the nationwide Escape Team chain) is the specialist for large groups: in Black Box 010, 7 to 24 people play simultaneously in one room of over 100 m², where deceased inventor John Jacobs left behind a test that only 'the perfect team' can complete. The game splits the group into rotating sub-teams and scales challenges with group size and level — sensor-driven, with light, video and sound effects instead of padlocks. There's also Tijdmachine 010, a time-travel adventure specially designed for children while parents watch from the lounge. Reviews are strong (ERN 8.7, Google 4.7): a rare example of a well-executed large-group experience, though some find the English-language computer voice confusing and enthusiasts miss the atmospheric depth of a classic themed room.
