About this venue
Escape Room De Kluis is housed in an actual former Rabobank building at Vierwiekenplein in Oud-Beijerland, complete with the original vault — and that building is the game. In the main room De Kluis you are the criminal yourself: with help from the invisible accomplice 'Faust' you crack the security system and rob the vault before the police arrive. The second room, De Directiekamer, is a corporate thriller in which a pristine director's office slowly reveals cryptocurrency fraud and a bomb. Fans praise the authentic bank location and spacious layout; more critical reviews find the puzzles repetitive (mostly combination locks and keys), the progression almost entirely linear and the guidance of varying quality.
