Escape Mystery is not a physical escape room but a provider of virtual 360-degree escape experiences: you 'walk' through photorealistic panoramas of real Dutch locations via browser, such as Sonnenborgh observatory, a Rotterdam café and Delft monuments. Directories list the provider under Naaldwijk, but the registered address is in The Hague and there is no visit location — play is possible at home, each on your own laptop or together behind one screen, for around 20 to 25 euros per team. The four games are honestly labeled from easy to very difficult and a built-in hint system prevents getting stuck. Online there is hardly anything about player experiences: no escapetalk score, no TripAdvisor page and 'insufficient ratings' on escaperoomsnederland.nl — a remarkably invisible product.
