Ed's Erfenis

Delft Closed 1 room

About this venue

Ed's Erfenis was a pop-up escape room by the Delft theater association De Flits in their Microtheater on the Kerkstraat, built during the coronavirus crisis when the association was on the verge of collapse after a year without performances. Players found a letter from 1982 by founder Ed Strelitski about a treasure hidden somewhere in the theater 'for hard times' โ€” one hour to find Ed's inheritance and save the theater. The room was designed for exactly four players with puzzle stations one and a half meters apart and had two switchable difficulty levels. The room ran for only a few weeks (around 2020/2021) and has long since closed; no player reviews have been preserved, so a quality assessment cannot be given. It remains mainly a touching story: play a game, save a real theater.
