Down the Hatch in Voorburg — now rebranded as Untold Stories Experiences — is home to Molly's Game, named the world's best escape room in 2023 (TERPECA) and a top-5 fixture for years. In this 90-minute experience, Dr. Dan Kowalski opens his practice on November 19, 1971, and the mysterious 'Molly' has turned his office and home into a dark game you can only leave by playing through. Light, sound, and even scent orchestrate every moment; puzzles are deliberately simple so the story never stalls, and the famous transitions between spaces make players doubt their own perception. Reviews worldwide rave about the set, story, and immersion; criticisms are limited to somewhat weak paper props and a story so 'bonkers' that the debrief is sometimes needed to piece it all together. The earlier rooms The Cooper Case (closed) and Flight 815 (relocated to Tilburg) made way for this single flagship.
