Uutveugele (launched August 2024) is not a room but an outdoor escape route: 'De Strijd om Oostkapelle' guides you over roughly three hours across approximately 5 kilometers through forest and dune landscape—the Manteling van Walcheren—back to World War II. It's a cross between escape room, geocaching and treasure hunt: your team (4–6 people, from age 14) gets two backpacks full of puzzle material and finds cached tasks along the way at places where the war actually happened. A clever detail: only one team member may carry an internet-enabled phone, strictly for navigation. The first TripAdvisor reviews are very positive about the route design, the challenging but manageable tasks and the fact that you learn genuine WWII history of Oostkapelle — but the offering is still too new for scores on major review sites.
