Undercover 030 is not an escape room but a live-action undercover mission across Utrecht: a briefcase with a C2000 receiver (for listening in on police communications) has been stolen and your team must retrieve it from 'the underworld'. You play in your own clothes, with your own phone and own car; missions come in via (sometimes hilarious) messages that start before the event itself, and your opponents are professional actors who chase you, mislead you, and confront you. The experience lasts 90 to 120 minutes, can be done with 2 to 16 players (there is also a Family Edition) and is action-driven: chases, hiding, and nerve-wracking encounters weigh more heavily than puzzles. Participants are remarkably enthusiastic — 9.1 average across hundreds of teams and 98% recommend it — especially praising the credible actors and adrenaline; there is even a notorious story of a team that mistook a real passerby for an actor, resulting in the police being called.
