Rock City Escape is housed in the former Eemklooster in Amersfoort and uses that monastery building as living decor: immersion begins in the car park and costumed hosts (nun, chef) play their roles throughout the entire experience. The three rooms — Bloody Mary, Soup du Jour and Poppet — are canonically linked horror and mystery stories around the monastery, from a mirror ritual in the catacombs to an exclusive monastery restaurant where nuns disappear; Poppet closed temporarily in early 2026 and returns in summer as the renewed 'Poppet – Echo'. Hints come diegetically: whispers from speakers and light signals that draw your attention instead of text screens.
