About this venue
Outdoor escape game by Outside Escape — not a physical escape room, but a puzzle route through Oudewater that you play at your own pace with an envelope full of tasks and your phone. The route revolves around Oudewater's famous Witches' Scales (Heksenwaag), where people were once weighed to prove their innocence in witch trials. Players investigate whether that weighing was fair or rather propaganda, while solving puzzles about trade, belief, traditions and crafts as they travel along canals and past historic buildings.
