Opstand aan de Linie was the escape room at farm-café Bij Aaltje aan de Linie in Woudenberg, played in two parallel rooms: the Boerenmeidkamer and the Officierstent. The story was fully themed to the end of the 18th century and the Grebbelinie where the farm literally sits — sabotage and espionage played the lead roles, using intentionally old-fashioned materials without high-tech. The strength lay in the duel format (two teams against each other with identical tasks in completely different décor), the authentic historical location, and the low price of €17.50 per person with a drink afterward. The room relied mainly on local group outings and built almost no reviews in the enthusiast community. On December 21, 2024, the escape room closed; the announced successor 'Aaltjes Advocaatuur' does not appear to have materialized, so play is no longer possible here.
