The Speakeasy by Luciano di Silva was an escape room in the basement of Proeflokaal & Kookstudio De Munt in Leusden, a restaurant in a former bank building. The room was built in the old bank vault: a hidden 1920s speakeasy owned by mobster Luciano di Silva, complete with Charleston music, hats, feathers and a poker table. The authentic vault and the escape-then-dine arrangement were charming, but the game itself disappointed: reviews called it 'more a puzzle room than an escape room' with generic puzzles that had little connection to the story. With 5.2 on escapetalk (gameplay experience even 4.1) and structural Social Deal discounts, this was one of the lowest-rated rooms in the province; the escape room has since closed, the restaurant remains.
