Bunker 83 is the escape room of the National Military Museum, played in a real military bunker on the former Soesterberg air base. It's 1983, heart of the Cold War: you choose a side โ America or Russia โ and man the atomic command bunker of that side, split between an Operations room and a War Room that must work together under time pressure. Winning here is not opening a door but making the right strategic decisions to prevent 'Mutual Assured Destruction'; a wrong choice means losing. Visitors praise the oppressive Cold War atmosphere, the unique cooperation between two rooms, and the fact that very large groups (up to 28 people) can participate. The biggest complaint is that instructions and materials are entirely in technical English, which sometimes pulls Dutch groups out of the story; with 8.5 out of 97 reviews on Escaperoomsnederland the experience still scores well.
Super leuke escape room. Het verhaal zit leuk in elkaar en het spanningsveld is te voelen.โ Escaperoomsnederland
Je wordt helemaal in de Koude Oorlog dreiging gezogen, en de materialen zijn ook mooi jaren 80.โ Escaperoomsnederland
Een escape room die erg leuk en uitdagend is met grote groepen. Zeker een aanrader om heen te gaan.โ Escaperoomsnederland
