Kartplaza Actionworld in Nijverdal is a large action center built around Europe's longest indoor go-kart track, where three escape rooms have been added as an extra activity to the existing 'adventure worlds'. You crack the safe in the Wild West laser game arena, steal the blueprints of a futuristic amphibious kart in Escape The Factory, or search in Het Proeflokaal for the bar owner's secret beer recipe. The rooms are strongly linear and lean on décor borrowed from the other attractions; on escapetalk they score poorly (3.4/5). Reviews praise the friendly service and the convenience of a complete evening out (go-kart + escape + BBQ under one roof), but complain about malfunctioning electronic locks, poor maintenance between groups and too many players for too few puzzles — as a pure escape experience, this is mainly something for beginners who are coming for the go-karts anyway.
