About this venue
Het Schwarzwald is a forested activity and party center at the A1 near Rijssen, with six escape rooms across three themes as part of a much broader offering (buggies, restaurant, corporate parties). You sabotage a V1 installation in a WWII headquarters, crack a bank vault as an outlaw in the Wild West, or investigate who stole the cartel's cocaine in Mexican Maffia: The Battle — the latter in four identical copies, so up to four teams (28 players) can race each other. This makes it primarily an XL group outing: up to 50 players at once, with the internal 'battle' as the main draw. Reviews are mixed (6.8/10 on EscapeRoomsNederland): decor, music and price for large groups are praised, but recurring complaints about locks already open, rushed reception and hint staff too busy with other center activities.
