About this venue
The escape rooms at Kartplaza Actionworld in Nijverdal are a side activity of a large kart and leisure centre, with three rooms of increasing difficulty. A nice detail: two of the three stories take place in Kartplaza itself—you steal the blueprints of a secret water kart from the workshop (The Factory) or search for bartender Brendon Brouwer's secret beer recipe (Het Proeflokaal); The Bank Heist cracks the vault of the building from when it was a bank. Independent reviews are scarce: the location is practically unrated on escapetalk and the one detailed review (6/10) praises the décor but calls the game linear and technically shaky, especially with large groups. Mainly suitable as a fun extra to a day of karting; those coming purely for the escape room will find stronger rooms elsewhere in the region.
