Escape het Landgoed by Actief Twente is an outdoor GPS escape route of about 4 hours (6 km) over the historic Singraven estate near Denekamp, with its stately house, carriage house and centuries-old water mill on the Dinkel. Completely independent with a Garmin GPS and physical route booklet: each solved puzzle or brain teaser yields the coordinates of the next location, until you've 'escaped' from the estate. The story is thin — the estate itself is the star and the puzzles are the excuse for a beautiful walk. Participants are enthusiastic about it (company-wide 9/10 from about 1,200 reviews): beautiful route, clear instructions and easy GPS use, fun with family or colleagues. The most common caveat is that there's 'no escape element' — anyone expecting a real escape room gets a puzzle walk.
