Sherlock Holmes Adventures is the official Sherlock Holmes licence holder approved by The Conan Doyle Foundation, a five-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The escape room Sherlock's Brain Attic (75 min) lets you literally enter the 'memory palace' of the deceased detective to solve an Amsterdam cold case, set in a narrow canal house with stairs and climbing sections; there's also the city game Moriarty's Masterpiece with live actors through the city centre. Visitors especially praise the host who 'completely immerses you in the story from beginning to end', the atmosphere and beautiful décor — ideal for beginners. The only Escapetalk review is more critical of the puzzle experience itself (gameplay 6.0 versus service 10.0): the décor and service are stronger than the game design. The venue is still young and has limited reviews.
