About this venue
Logic Locks is one of Amsterdam's pioneers (since 2014) and internationally acclaimed as a game and experience design studio. Their flagship The Amsterdam Catacombs you play in the real basement-crypt of the Posthoornkerk: a 90-minute spine-tingling mix of escape room and immersive theatre, where hosts remain in character from arrival to departure and contact person 'Dr. Robin' provides hints via walkie-talkie without ever breaking the fiction. The older The Secrets of Eliza's Heart — the study left behind by an explorer who disappeared in 1922 — is physically closed but lives on as a livestream avatar game. Visitors rave about the phenomenal décor, the actors and the story (9.3 on escaperoomsnederland.nl); devoted puzzlers sometimes find the puzzles a bit light and simple relative to the atmosphere.
