Escapehood is a young Amsterdam provider (opened December 2025) with two story-driven rooms explicitly targeting families and groups with children: in Premiere at Cinehood you get drawn into the film during a movie premiere, and in The Forget Lab you search the house of an eccentric professor for a secret memory elixir. No nerve-wracking race against the clock, but an accessible adventure with clever puzzles and small surprises, plus an 'Escape Hangout'—a lounge where you're welcomed before and after play. Early reviews are outstanding: 9.3 on escapetalk with an exceptional 9.7 for gameplay experience, and parents report that children's parties go off brilliantly. That score is based on only five reviews though, so the verdict is still provisional; no complaints have emerged so far.
