Escaperoom Den Helder 'Danger No Voltage' (Fort Westoever)

Den Helder β˜… 7,7 (escapetalk 7.7) 2 rooms

About this venue

Danger No Voltage is run by 'de Helderse Jongens' in the monumental Fort Westoever, a 19th-century fort that once actually housed a Cold War emergency power station. There are two rooms that tell one scenario from two angles: the Dutch power grid has been taken down by a cyberattack and you must restart the forgotten emergency station as 'Marine Unit Technical Support'. The Control Room is the most challenging (knowledge and teamwork puzzles), the Engine Room is the gentler entry point; two teams can also play in parallel and race. The sets are professionally designed by Sandenburg-DST and the authentic fort delivers top-tier atmosphere. On escapetalk it scores 7.7 (only 3 reviews): ambiance scores 8.5, but gameplay experience lags at 7.2β€”the location outshines the puzzles. The fort also has a restaurant and is open Friday through Sunday.
