About this venue
X-Cube at Center Parcs Zandvoort is not a classic escape room but a high-tech digital 'cube' of around 4×4 metres in the Action Factory next to the Beach Hotel, opened in March 2026. The same space runs a menu of digital games — from Murder at the Mansion (a whodunit that ends with naming the culprit) and The Traitors (social deduction with a secret traitor) to Submerged and various children's and spy missions. Everything plays out on large touchscreens with controllers, blacklights and light effects; there is no physical set or actor and it runs mostly automatically. It is positioned as an accessible, weather-proof family activity for the holiday park ('fun as a first escape room, not too difficult or scary for children').
