Waterjump Tilburg (Expeditie Robinson)

About this venue

Waterjump Tilburg was a temporary urban beach on the Wilhelmina Canal (Twentestraat) that featured an outdoor escape game in the summer of 2016: Expeditie Robinson, built by Locks & Keys. It was not a room but an outdoor game on the sand where teams of 2-6 solved mental and physical challenges around 1 to 4 chests in the style of the TV show; whoever cracked their chest raised the flag. Up to four teams (24 players) competed head-to-head simultaneously. The location is closed: the urban beach closed after the 2017 season and the site has since been demolished, so the game no longer exists. The public trace is very thin: escapetalk mentions the game but without a score, and there is one positive TripAdvisor review about its novelty value ('Survivor in your backyard').
