About this venue
VR World Breda is a virtual reality experience centre in the Futuredome, the former Koepelgevangenis (Dome Prison) of Breda, with over 60 VR experiences including two VR escape rooms by Ubisoft. In Escape the Lost Pyramid (Assassin's Creed Origins) you travel to 1928 to find a lost expedition in the pyramid of Nebka; in Beyond Medusa's Gate (Assassin's Creed Odyssey) you escape with 2-4 players from a massive Greek coastal cave. Both are cooperative VR puzzles where players see different pieces of information and must work aloud together. TripAdvisor visitors praise the graphics, clear explanations and teamwork; the most mentioned moment is the vertigo when you virtually step over a cliff. Criticism: it's licensed content found in every VR arcade worldwide, so nothing location-specific. There is no escapetalk score because the VR and escape room audiences barely overlap.
