About this venue

Villa BreTil is a respected escape room location in Rijen, housed in a real villa from the 1930s/40s opposite the former airfield, fully dressed in WWII atmosphere. The three rooms are chapters of one family mystery: HannaH plays on the attic where a girl has locked herself away, Zahnarzt Schillinger revolves around a dentist who becomes a monster, and The Imitation Room is a spy story centered on mother Idah and a secret encoding machine à la Turing. After the experience, guests learn that the German occupation of the villa actually happened. Visitors praise the warm welcome from the owner couple, the authentic atmosphere of the building and the surprises in HannaH (escapetalk public favorite). Criticism mainly concerns The Imitation Room (too much noise, multi-interpretable puzzles) and some worn props after years of use.
