About this venue
The Space is a large-scale escape mission by Noordkade Uitjes in Veghel, built in and around a 35 meter high old factory silo transformed into a Cold War rocket installation with a 25 meter high rocket. The story is set in 1983 at the height of the Cold War; you are guided via professionally filmed intro and metal walkways into the installation. In The Launch you execute the launch procedure as soldiers, in The Sabotage you infiltrate as spies to sabotage that same launch — and both can run head-to-head as battle mode with two teams up to 40 players. Visitors especially praise the imposing scale, strong set design and in-character guidance; the public review record is thin (only a handful of ratings, 7-9/10) because the location primarily targets groups and corporate outings.
