Nexxt VR was a large-scale VR arcade of 1200 m² on Mathildelaan near PSV stadium in Eindhoven, opened in 2019. Alongside concepts like Fear Factory, Battle Arena and Nexxt Level Missions, it offered about eight licensed VR escape rooms for groups of 4 to 50 people, with up to 12 players together in the same virtual world. The product was mainly the all-in package: two hours with unlimited drinks and spectator screens, so the waiting half of the group could watch players struggle in their headsets. The escape titles were off-the-shelf software without original story, so reviews focused on the VR medium (often a first VR experience) and friendly staff, not specific rooms. The location has since closed (around 2024-2025) and the website nexxtvr.com is no longer accessible — a large-scale, expensive arcade with commodity content couldn't survive in the Eindhoven market.
