About this venue
Kluisjesroof Oudenbosch is an escape room in the real vault of the monumental Brasserie Tivoli at the Jezuïetenplein, in the historic centre of Oudenbosch. The story is inspired by the real, much-publicised vault robbery at the Rabobank in Oudenbosch (2018): you play the thieves who have 60 minutes to pull off the job, secure the final haul and escape the vault before the police arrive. Because you play in a real vault, the fiction merges with the location itself. It is a side activity of the brasserie (not a separate escape business), where you can optionally book a package. Public reviews are scarce — Nicelocal gives 4.7/5 and escapetalk has too few ratings for a score; the little that exists mainly praises the setting and hospitality. Note: the room appears to have since been renovated/merged into Escape Room Tivoli.
