About this venue
Escaperoom 't Snoepwinkeltje is a small family business in Steenbergen (new location Oostdam 28), run by Johan Bosters and Diana Hendrikse. The namesake room — a nostalgic 1970s sweet shop based on the real historic shop of Torreke van de Velde — is no longer playable. Current top rooms are Paradise City, a stag night the evening before a wedding trip to Italy that gets out of hand, plus two lighter family rooms (Het Sprookjesbos and De Dierentuin). There are few public reviews, but the host is consistently praised for his passion and hospitality and the lovingly crafted theme. The only criticism: an overload of items that makes it unclear which clues are relevant, and for seasoned players there's little challenge.
