Escaperoom Het Fort takes place in an authentic 19th-century fort (Fort Lunet, part of the Zuiderwaterlinie) in Raamsdonksveer, and that authentic location is immediately the biggest asset: the atmosphere starts as soon as you park your car. The two rooms each tell a story about the building itself, but in different eras: in The Bomb Cellar (1833) you work as a bodyguard to defuse bombs before the fort explodes, in The Medicine (1945) you smuggle medicines through occupied wartime territory while the tide floods the marshes. Visitors praise the location, the friendly staff and the surprising effects in The Bomb Cellar; the score hovers around 7.8. There is a solid critical review of The Medicine in which reset errors spoil the game. You can combine both rooms with dinner at the restaurant on the fort.
