Bergeijk had two escape rooms, both now closed, which operated as side activities of another business. Het Rovershol was attached to outdoor/camping company De Negende Zaeligheyt: the underground cave of the legendary Witrijkse robber gang is exposed after centuries, and you must break the curse within an hour before the ghost wanders the forest forever — a physical room where you sit or crawl. The Rietveld Escape Experience in Theater de Kattendans built on Bergeijk's authentic design heritage: the famous Gerrit Rietveld chair has fallen apart and you only win if you rebuild it correctly. For both rooms, barely a public review base exists — they were micro-local attractions that never built an online footprint, which is itself telling. Note: both locations are closed.
