About this venue
Escape Room Veghel takes place in the actual historic CHV animal feed factory from 1915 on the Noordkade, which makes the atmosphere particularly authentic. In Het Mysterie van de Noordkade you are in 1937: panicked telegrams and phone calls flood the main office from farmers whose livestock falls ill from poisoned feed, and you must discover what's going on within 60 minutes. The room was named Best Escape Room of the Netherlands in 2016 and was completely renovated at the end of 2024 with modern technology while preserving the 1937 décor. Visitors especially praise the atmospheric, genuine location and the feeling that the history isn't 'slapped on'. Only historical criticism (from before the renovation): too many padlocks and 8 players is too many for the space — best played with 5-6.
