About this venue
Escape Room Eindhoven is located at the Klokgebouw on the former Philips site Strijp-S and is a volume- and group-oriented, software-driven location. The concepts are notably original: 'The Battle' lets teams race in identical rooms with sabotage buttons and a real-time scoreboard (up to 24 players), 'Disco Inferno' features a 70s disco theme with a points system and leaderboard, 'Crime Lab' is a CSI crime room with live video elements, and 'Adventure Camper' plays in an actual converted yellow camper. Visitors praise the originality of the formats, the group capacity and the price. The biggest complaint is the highly automated gameplay guidance: vague, impersonal hints and sometimes malfunctioning locks or props. Reviews therefore range from enthusiastic to disappointed.
