About this venue
Escape House Hoogeloon is 'Het Jagersch Huys' on the estate de Biestheuvel — one of the region's oldest large-scale games (reviews dating back to 2016) and still open as of 2025. It's not a room but an entire house: teams of 10 to 20 players (16+) get one hour to discover what happened to the father of game warden Cornelis, who disappeared in the early 1900s and whose mystery Cor never solved when he died in 1993. The setup is massively parallel — many rooms with simultaneously running puzzle strands that you navigate by splitting up, trusting each other and working together toward the solution. On escapetalk it scores around 7.5-7.7 (service 8.2); fans love the scale and group play, but criticism centers on chaos above ~12 players (you miss a lot), broken game elements and an ending that feels flat.
