The room '696 Black Forest Lane' placed players in the forest lair of a murderer, where they had to unravel three interconnected cases: a murdered detective, a missing student and an escaped psychiatric patient. Particularly notable was that the story line and puzzle difficulty adjusted to group size (3 to 15 players). Reviewers praised the original, well-thought-out puzzles, the strong story line and the atmosphere; the room was considered quite difficult, especially for small groups.
