Limburgs Uitje in Sevenum previously offered, under the X-Room brand, three fixed escape rooms — a Movie/Film Room (escape as James Bond), a Pirate Room with heavy locks on treasure chests, and a Hangover Room where you reconstruct an out-of-control Vegas night. Those rooms are now closed. Today the escape offering is 'Niets is wat het lijkt': an app-driven escape game of 1.5-2 hours across the entire indoor and outdoor location, where teams of 4-6 earn money by solving puzzles — wrong or late answers cost money, and the team with the most winnings wins champagne. The old rooms were praised for their atmospheric decoration and tricky puzzles, but criticized for little narrative buildup and puzzles that were hard to find; the fixed rooms were traded for group activities with higher capacity.
