Escaperoom The Ring was located in the historic Ringoven of Panningen, a historic ring kiln that served as an atmospheric 'dungeon with history'. Over the years it ran two or three rooms: The Chapel (around the missing village priest), later converted to The Cluedo Room — a hybrid of the board game Cluedo, 'Who am I?' and an escape room where you solve a murder by identifying the perpetrator and weapon — plus the Private Room/The Classroom around a missing kiln worker. Visitors praised the special historic location and sharp pricing ('very fun, enough challenge, beautiful location'), but critics found the theming thin and the locks and puzzles quite simple. There was never a stable aggregate score. The location is now listed as closed.
