In the Action Factory activity hall at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos (Hommersumseweg 43, Heijen) are two family escape rooms, alongside bumper cars and trampolines, run by the park's animation team. The Strange Curse of the Pharaoh brings your family into an Egyptian tomb to find the antidote to a worldwide curse; The Great Robbery is a museum/heist theme in which you steal back a stolen heirloom from a heavily guarded location. Both are for 3–6 players from age 7 and are linearly and forgivingly designed so that children can genuinely contribute; they are chain-standardized rooms that run identically in other Center Parcs parks (such as De Vossemeren). There is little public rating: a single 9/10 on escaperoomsnederland praises the high quality and the narrative, immersive gameplay, with minor technical flaws as a downside.
