Electric Escape was a mobile escape room (built in a container/trailer) that stood permanently at restaurant De Vriendschap in Beringe, opened in October 2016 and since permanently closed. In the single room you step into the workshop of inventor Nikola Tesla and unravel his secrets within an hour; electricity is the connecting thread through all puzzles, with light and spark effects (and an epilepsy warning). You could combine the game with dinner at the restaurant ('bite and escape'). On escapetalk the room scored 7.7 from only 3 reviews, with service (8.7) as the strongest point. Experienced players found the room 'not so special' and missed a real story โ 'more a nice collection with a few clever finds' โ and noticed you kept feeling that you were in a container; beginners were enthusiastic. Note: this slug and 'electric-escape-beringe' describe the same location.
