Break Out Evenementen in Swalmen (near Roermond) is a recreation company that receives around 25,000 guests per year; the escape rooms are one activity alongside climbing, archery and corporate outings. The rooms are first-generation prop and lock rooms from 2016 with atmospheric décor: a pirate hut where the captain has lost his key, an Egyptian royal chamber in a pyramid, and a time machine. There's also the group game De Bom for 15-40 people. Visitors praise the thematic décor, friendly staff and the complete outing with food and drink, but experienced players find the rooms somewhat dated and the difficulty level sometimes unfairly high (Egypt apparently only achieves ~5% escape rate). With an escapetalk score of 6.6, this is mainly a great group outing, not a destination for puzzle enthusiasts.
De Egyptische graftombe is qua escaperoom een uitdaging en qua ruimte erg mooi en toepasselijk ingericht.— escaperoomsnederland
